Okay, how do I begin with this one? Well, it all began all the way back in 2015 when I thought to myself, "Hey, why not I try doing one of those psytrance tracks like the ones sometimes being played on AfterHours.FM?" With only a limited knowledge of psytrance, and with my desire to also attract those hipsters who enjoy that sort of trance music, this is what I came up with. Four years in the making, and it's finally finished.

Basically, this is what happens when a trance producer like myself who is so used to specializing in the uplifting trance subgenre decided to dabble with psytrance for a change. It... kinda works, I guess? I hope it's not too clichéd.

I'm not a psytrance producer. Nor do I desire to be one. I know fully well that this track might probably not fit the "psytrance" definition, due to still using SFXs more common with uplifting trance than psytrance, and because of my insistence on using the much punchier uplifting trance-style kickdrum. To be fair, the whole thing sounds like what happens when an uplifting trance was written using psytrance-style progression and melodic structure. Then again, I'm not even trying to claim that this track is psytrance in any way. I write trance music; that's all you need to know.

The best way I'd put it, I like to think of this track as a transitional track between psytrance and uplifting trance in DJ sets that include both psytrance and uplifting trance together in the same set.
